If choosing one, go with Private lessons as they will always create the most effective learning experience and at a much faster rate.
In short, the Private lesson develops the skill and group classes promote repetition and context.

Group Classes are a great way to introduce yourself to new dances, work on your leading and following skills and allows students an opportunity to practice their dancing in a comfortable environment every week with other students.
